I've stolen the good bits to share here as well.

Contains a ton of goodies, *spoilers* and the occasional F-bomb!   

JR’s publisher was in attendance, videotaping the whole thing, plus the crazy morning crowds and snake lines all over the building (9am wrist band distribution line)

There are a few Lover Reborn spoilers in the signing Q&A.

I think I pulled a muscle jumping out of my seat, screaming and high-fivin’ my neighbors after that first question.

Qhuay’s book is next year’s HARDCOVER BDB BOOK...not novella....BOOK!!!! :) When pressed about the name of Qhuay’s book, JR joked that it would NOT be called Lover Goes Down (hahaha!)

Bonding scent if for ONE person....but that doesn’t mean Tohr can’t love No’One and be with No’One for the rest of his life.

JR cried @ the end of Lover Reborn.

JR made hand motion of feeling/holding balls when explaining why she was too busy to think about graphic novels right now.

Murhder will come out soon and be a part of this world, but she doesn’t know if it will happen but ...she just doesn’t know when.

JR wonders if Sympaths is going to be the third party that reunites BOB with the Brothers. She thinks that would be interesting...and she can kind of see that.

Thank fucking GOD. There will be NO threeway with Layla Qhuinn and Blay and in the next book. We all gave this question asker major sideeye for asking....JR said she must be “fucking nuts” and did the question asker want her to be killed (JR). But I am actually so glad the question was asked because we received confirmation that that’s a big fat NO :)

But we COULD have a 3way in Qhuay’s book, she joked....I can’t tell if she was serious or not. Something about size not mattering? with regard to a 3way? I didn’t quite get that.

Assail fascinates JR. She thinks he’s very hot :)

She doesn’t know if we will meet Butch and Manny’s father.

JR again confirms there will be books about Trez & Iam (do these people not read previous signing threads???). JR says people will be mad about Trez’s mate...It’s controversial.

We will get a new induction into the Brotherhood soon, but she confirms that it will NOT be John Matthew.

She’s too busy with the books to do much with the movie stuff, and who the heck would play them? But her TEAM is encouraging this with her...they want her to at least TRY

Pretty much confirms that Layla and Xcor will get together. JR gave an...oh it’s so obvious DUH! kind of answer to this question...without actually using the word “yes”....does that make sense? That’s why I say... “pretty much”

JR won’t comment on Saxton right now.

Again confirms that Lassiter gets his own book. She still doesn’t know which series it will be (BDB or Fallen Angels).

On the SV? “Bitch needs some psychiatry” LOLOL!

at the previous Fallen Angels signing, JR said something was going to make us very upset in Tohr’s book. JR confirms...it was the Layla/Quinn sex. That’s what she knew would piss us off.

On where is the SV? When will we see SV? Wrath is the most important vampire to her...so if Wrath is in danger? That’s going to bring the SV back.

We WILL see Eddie back. And she wants him coupled up :) But something major is going to have to happen to bring Eddie back.

JR would love for Jose De La Cruz and Butch to see each other, without Butch wiping his memories afterwards. At a previous signing, JR said just the opposite. I like this new idea better.

Mating ceremony is about marking while a fading ceremony is about mark eradication. Hot poker used during fading ceremony makes a pattern and seal on TOP of the mating ceremony mark. The combination of the two becomes a mourning pattern. When Tohr mates Autumn, her name will go UNDER Wellsie’s name. And that mating ceremony WILL happen. No’One works so well for Torh because being #1 isn’t important to her...rather, she values most being with Tohr in the present and coming full circle with him. Those are what’s most important to No’One. Anyone that would be mated with Tohr would need to understand they would never get in the way of Wellsie.

When pressed about movie/tv deals again, JR joked that she was thinking of the SPICE channel :)

Where’s Qhuinn’s brother? we WILL find out in Qhuay’s book. She again hints that he might not come back as a vampire.

She can see a Zsadist subplot in Qhuay’s book....but she hasn’t outlined their book yet, so don’t hold her to that...

She explained her cryptic Facebook video, about the next book making her so nervous. She is dreading and super worried about writing Qhuay’s book because expectation is so very high. It will open up as a tear jerker. Something super game-changing and profound happens at the beginning of Qhuay’s book. Qhuay’s book begins right at the end of Lover Reborn. Me speaking: She wants us to treat it Qhuay’s book like the other BDB books and not have insane expectations).

When someone wants to know if we’ll get new characters, JR says she’s careful about not adding too many characters because she won’t be able to give them enough attention. But she thinks we’ll get new characters after the BOB era.

when will Jane and V get mated? Answer; Jane and V are technically already mated. It’s a year later now...so JR needs to figure out how to show us that.

JR has an idea but will not reveal....the favour SV demanded of Wrath in Dark Lover. IT WILL come to play in later books.

Layla Quinn Xcor dynamics? not so good. Xcor has never had a family; Layla’s going to change his world. But it’s not going to be overnight!

On Layla: “She wants to bang the guy that wants to kill the king!” LOL! JR makes an eharmony joke :)

JR’s favorite Lover Reborn scenes were funny moments with Lassiter (she named a few good ones). She also liked the scene with Autumn looking at the field of snow...and that shadow comes out? And she really loved some of the sex scenes, too :)

People need to believe that with HEA’s, it’s not always good, but the couples will always be husband and wife. Tohr’s story broke this rule. So JR was nervous. But she believed it and felt good about it in the end.

Tohr’s son is up in the Fade, and she doesn’t want to leave her son. Tohr will have to wait until he dies to see his son. JR doesn’t see Tohr wanting more kids and going there again. he kind of has Xhex and of course (JM).

No more Layla feeding everybody with her pregnancy! Her Chosen sisters are going to have to step it up and fill in more.

Regarding Throe’s sister: Fade ceremony doesn’t have shit to do with whether you get into the Fade. That’s more to help you, personally, move on. So the idea that you can’t have a “fade ceremony” if you commit suicide? is bullshit.

Lots of Marissa in Rhage & Mary’s baby novella.

How is Xcor going to handle Throe love triangle with Layla? Duh. not well.

when asked about whether we would see more battle women, JR says she can see a training class of both men and women, together, coming through. (goes back to Wrath changing old traditions)

More visions from Qhuinn? JR jokes, in a sexy voice, that he will have tons of visions (eluding to sex with Blay of course) :)

she won’t answer whether JM/Qhuinn/Blay will be inducted TOGETHER. But she does add, look to Qhuay’s book on that.

you can have valid matings, even with SV being present.

on “did Tohr love No’One before he loved Wellsie?” When they 1st met, they were both in bad places. Tohr’s dad had kicked him out; newly transitioned. She had just been raped. He was very emotionally involved with No’One before she killed herself. Concerned about her health, etc...Her burial was tough on him...Was it romantic love? JR doesn’t know. But JR thinks that if No’One hadn’t killed herself, Tohr & No’One would have probably moved in that direction....But Tohr was promised to Wellsie, met her and fell in love. Basically....with more time together and different circumstances (no suicide)...the answer could have been yes.

She won’t answer whether Qhuinn and Blay will each put the other’s name on their backs during their mating ceremony. She wants to save stuff for us to read about.

The score in Fallen Angels is STILL 2 to 1, even though Mathias is coming back. Once you score, you score; there’s no taking back points.

For Fall AND for Spring (Fallen Angels and BDB books) , there will be 2 local signings for each on back to back weekends. (there were nearly 1000 books signed today...some people who came later in the day, but before the signing began...couldn’t get their books signed). JR doesn’t want that to happen again. One of the 2 Qhuay signings WILL be at this same B&N Cincinnati, OH store. She hopes she doesn’t end up with 1000 people 1 weekend and no one the next weekend :)

It makes JR sad to think of Saxton having to rewrite old laws to make Qhuay possible. It’s going to be very hard on him; Saxton really does love Blay.

Q: “How did Xhex & Murhder meet? Did they meet because Murhder is Revh’s cousin?” JR only heard the 1st part of this question (shit). She won’t answer Q on how Xhex & Murhder hey met; but it’s a good Q.

Wrath going blind? Sorry, but that’s kind of what happens with inbreeding in royal lines. Recessive genes magnified. Wrath is really going to want to know about the color of his child’s eyes...JR almost tears up discussing that.

who is 4th of original brothers? is it Murhder? Answer: Maybe. And good spot to end Q&A.

Well Ward finished Tohr's manuscript today and posted the official cover art for LOVER REBORN. Its very similar to the one leaked one we got a look at a few months ago but tweaked and looking slightly more Tohr-ish (although still not how I imagined him) Only 6 months to go...sigh

He came in at a WHOPPING 754 manuscript pages, a total of 176,937 words AND he's going to expand as I go through him the next two times soooooo we could be looking at a Rehv length (Avenged is the longest book in the series so far.) ~REVIEW of J.R Ward's ENVY~

~THE BEST OF THE SERIES~

Envy (The Fallen Angels, #3) 

Opening Line: "It was in the spring,on a dark April evening, when Detective Thomas DelVecchio Jr. learned that nigthmares could in fact make the  jump out of the mind and into real life."

As others have mentioned this is the best yet from Ward’s Fallen Angels series. She seems to have gotten the mix just right here and I found myself completely caught up in the story, it’s romance and all the many sub characters and their ongoing battles. I suppose introducing the hero in the last BDB book didn’t hurt matters, as from the get-go I was wondering how a Vampire attack and Veck’s subsequent “memory loss” was going to be explained. However the two series feel very different to me now, and even though I can still sense the BDB world in the background, its no longer a distraction. (I do become a squealing fan girl when I find those cameos though) Speeding black Escalade in the rain or old landlord in a butlers uniform anyone.

  

I would describe this as a romance wrapped in urban fantasy. The mix works though, along with Ward’s usual hilarious male banter, excessive product placement, seriously hot love scenes and a few major surprises -which we should see the trickle down effect from for several books to come. I also feel that she finally got the romance right here; I enjoyed Veck and Reilly and found myself rooting for their HEA.

Through some unique world building we also get a much closer look at arch angels Nigel and Colin (who are growing on me) and of course our sexy saviour Jim and his badass fallen angel sidekicks Adrian and Eddie… (Sigh)

Lastly I have to mention Devina. She is just awesome, probably Ward’s best female character to date and a superb villain. Yes she is evil but she is also so much more, what with her therapy sessions, hoarding issues, insecurities and school girl crush on Jim -which let me tell you he uses to his full advantage. Alls fair in love and war bitch.

As with all of Ward’s books there are many characters fighting for POV time; popping us back and forth between hero and heroine, into heaven and hell and the minds of angels, demons and anyone else caught in the crossfire of battle #3. I can honestly say though that I didn’t ever want to skip any of their sections (Lessers) as each POV was an integral part of the story and more than held my interest.

Yes, the WARDen got it right with ENVY and I can’t wait to find out what happens next.

She is of course being held by Devina (CRAVE) Jim is determined to find her body and retrieve her soul from hell whatever the consequences which gives him more reason then ever to shadow Veck, who’s own internal struggle is just beginning. Honestly I could go on and on about the plot. So much happens and I‘m not doing it justice here so I will stop. It is intricate, shocking, suspenseful, exciting, sexy and just well played. Cheers

~TONS of *Spoilers* from Ward's Sept 10 book signing in Cincinnati -ENVY & LOVER REBORN~

Okay. I got stole details from several sources regarding Ward's latest book signing and Q&A  in Cincinnati on Sept 10. MAJOR SPOILERS ahead and a *Language warning* as Ward has been know to let the "occasional" F-Bomb fly!

-Did Devina cheat with Eddie? She did not cheat this time.

-Is there a return of Eddie? Hope so, yes.

-Do you have authors or other inspiration for writing? Wrath was the first word out of her mouth. Then said no other authors inspire her. She is a writer and must write each and every day.

-What will Mary & Rhage’s child be? A girl. Can’t you just see when she starts dating and Daddy’s dragon tries to eat her dates.

-How many BDB books will you write? Will write as many books as her readers will continue to buy.

There will be an awesome new male introduced in Lover Reborn named “Asail”

-Muhrder will get his own book

-She has written Mary & Rhage’s novella, but still needs to write Beth & Wrath’s. Can’t finish until she finishes Tohr’s book. No date yet for the novellas to be published.

-Is Wrath white or African American? 1st he isn’t a human, nor is he or any of the brothers pasty-ass white boys. They are tanned skinned, so not white or black

-Will Butch & V ever be together? Who says they haven’t already been together and we don’t know about it (she even laughed and said this will show up on the internet)

-She said it needs to be next after Tohr’s book. 2 things have to happen in Tohr’s book to set it up – Team Qhuay won’t be happy with one of the things that happens. Both must happen for their book to be ready.

-Will we see more cross-over between BDB/Angel series? They will be in Caldwell from now on, so very possible to see cameos from each series.

What is dog? Answer to dog is in dog.

-Zsadist is her favorite character (Mine too)

-Will Jim get a happy ending? Yes he will.

-Score is tied 1-1 after Crave. How did Jim lose? He tried to help the wrong guy.

-When will Nalla find out about Zsadist’s history and what will be her reaction? She will read about it. This will throw Z back into the world of the Mistress again. Will always worry about how Nalla sees him now. Also how any male she would mate with would see him. Never gave a total answer about Nalla’s reaction, but seemed like it wouldn’t be good.

-Will Trez & iAm get their own books? Also asked about future threesomes. Yes they will get books. We have not met iAm’s mate yet. Would not comment on future threesomes. We will see more of Trez & iAm in future books.

-Tohr’s new mate is No’ One. Very long book and will be broken up into 4 sections – Spring, Summer, Fall, Winter. Tohr is not ready for a new mate yet, so takes some time for him to be ready for a new mate. ***Will need lots of Kleenex for this book***

-Lassiter will be seen a lot in Tohr’s book.

-Payne & Manny’s book and Tohr’s book were happening at the same time. There was much overlapping in action that occurred, so Payne & Manny’s book focused mostly on them. Tohr’s book will have more focus on the brothers. Will see more of the brothers together in Tohr’s book. Tohr is the last original brother.

-How did you pick a dragon for Rhage? When she first saw Rhage he took off his shirt & she saw the dragon tattoo moving on his back.

-Devina & Adrian thing – She is a parasite and she is in Adrian. Must keep reading to find out if she get Adrian.

-Will Layla ever have sex? (she actually dropped the microphone with this question) Yes and you won’t like who it is with

-Who is next for Fallen Angel series? You will know at the end of Envy.

-Will we see more of Scribe Virgin? Lash? We will see more of the Scribe Virgin. She hates Lash with a passion and he is such a shit. Answer to Lash was at the end of Lover Mine.

-What would it take to have the BDB to move to movie/mini-series (HBO)? Has to be the right situation. Her concern and focus will always be the books.

-What will happen with Sissy? Jim will save her.

-Brothers will start training again. Must have families return to Caldwell first.

-Will we see more of the Sympaths in the future? Most likely will help with battle between Wrath & Xcore & his band of bastards.

-Wrath will never get his eyesight back.

-Lassiter & the Brothers hate each other. Lassiter is a dick. However, we will see another side of Lassiter in Tohr’s book.

-How did she pick Brother’s music? JR listens to rap & hip/hop.

-Was questioned about Jane forgiving V so quickly in Lover Unleashed. Jane knew who/what V was when she decided to be with him. In fact, she was pretty defensive of Jane’s choice. Jane knew V was a Dom and had to accept him for who he is from the very beginning.

-What is her favorite book? One she is currently writing.

-Will we see Qhuinn’s brother again? Yes and she said the line “might be a Lessor” a couple of times.

-No’One’s name will be revealed in Tohr’s book.

-Asked if No’One is Throe’s sister? No answer given, but seemed like a yes based on body language.

-What about the Omega? He has been very quiet in the books, but not quiet for what is going on.

-Tohr’s book will be at least 700 pages. She is about half way through it now.

-Question about Qhuinn’s piercings. He took them out while he is working to redefine himself. Some piercings have not been taken out. Others will return once he leaves his unhappy place

-Would we ever get a prequel for Darius? Most likely no since there is no happy ending.

-Does Layla losing her virginity have anything to do with Qhuinn’s vision? Big no answer, but again I will guess yes based on body language.

If everything happens in Lover Reborn that should happen it will be them but LR is gonna PISS PEOPLE OFF!! be warned!!!

11. Does JM have issues with Murhder coming back? Wouldn't you? He is gonna be much happier with him getting it on with someone else!!! However it will depend on how Murhder "comes in" and then she laughed at herself.

12. Do the shadow brothers get a book? Yes!! Then the girl asked if they would have a threesome and JR flipped. She said EEWWWW...they are brothers!

13. Tohr's mate is....? No'One. Very complex romance and get your tissued ready. His story will be told in 4 seasons.

14. Another insider book? Yes but not for a few more books.

15. What about Lassiter? he will be in the next book TONS!!

16. Fav quote from Lover Reborn so far? Tohr talking about Rhage "He is slapping his money maker like bread do.

17. Will Layla FINALLY have sex? she laughs and tells the "coming story" from Saratoga. Then says yes but we won't be happy with who it is and how it happens.

18. Have we seen the last of Lash? YES. He is a shit. I hate him.

19. What about the Scribe Virgin? She needs a large dose of prozac.

20. Will the Darius/JM secret be told? NO. NEVER! Cant be told. Xhex knows something is there but can't tell what. He will still have seizures.

21. A movie? She has no control if there is a movie made. She only has control out of the books. However, she said where will they find men with "attributes" of the brothers???? You gonna stick a bicycle pump up their ass to blow them up? Casting would be difficult and she doesnt want her readers upset

22. What about Sissy? She jumps up and down and says I wanna tell!! Then she said YES he saves her. Then she sings "lets get it on"!!!

23. Does the training return at the compound? Yes but first people need to return to Caldwell.

24.What is going to stop the Bastards? She said 1 of 2 things....humans find them OR the brothers join with with the sympaths!!!!! That would chill them the fuck out!! Then she proceeds to say how Xcor needs plasctic surgery to get with her. She would need a paper bag over his face or turn the lights WAAAAAAAAAAYYYY down.

26. Why do the Brothers hate Lassiter? He is a jackass!! He is an ass. He is a dick. He is an angel w/o compassion. She said he was sent back to help TOhr regain compassion but also to help him find some.

34. Will Qhuinn get his piercings back or is he done with them? She said he is still trying to find himself because he isn't comfy in his skin unlike Blay with being gay. She said when he finds himself they will return however she pointed out not ALL his piercings are gone!!!

36. Does Layla lose her virginity to Qhuinn? She smiles and won't answer the question. She then said that Qhuinn doesn't understand why relationships with females never satisfied him.

When someone mentioned how he treated Jane in Unleashed she defended him and said Jane KNEW what she was mated to so she either had to forgive him or move the fuck on!!

~BLACK DAGGER BROTHERHOOD NEWS from Ward's Aug 13 booksigning~

Here's all the news I managed to scrounge up from Ward's book signing on Aug 13. Damn I wish I could have been there. I borrowed stole this from several sources and I hope nobody minds.The bulk of the info came from ://obscuredvixen.wordpress.com/2011/... and Goodreads.

Here's basically what was said, And remember Ward likes to use the F-bomb.

- The WARDen is currently writing Rhage and Mary’s novella, which has now transformed into a short book. She is approximately three-quarters complete with this story.

- Ward knew that writing Tohr’s book was going to have to be written, and she knew it was going to be hard for her. Tohr has been through so much and is still in love with Wellsie. It was extremely hard for Ward to write Tohr’s journey. She said that even though he physically may be attracted to someone, the heart and mind may take a while to follow. Usually the Brother’s books take place over a very short timeline. Lover Reborn will take place over the course of a year.

- During Lover Unleashed, we were all waiting for a big family reunion between the Scribe Virgin, Vishous and Payne… but it never happened! Ward stated that it is going to be a while before this little family is on good grounds. The SV is at rock bottom right now, and it will take her a while to get out of it.

- Lassiter will be getting his own book. Ward is going to keep him with the Brothers, but can see how his story crosses over to the Fallen Angels series.

- Ward stated that Qhuinn and Blay fans will not be happy with Lover Reborn (loud groan from the room). She then said, “You all need to chill the fuck out. You know it’s going to happen. Just give it some time!” The room broke out in laughter. Ward stated that about three-quarters of the way through Lover Reborn it will be very clear who will end up together.

- When asked if there will be a cohntehst in the series, Ward responded “Absolutely, 100%.” However, she did not mention who. [Perhaps Murhder and John Matthew ]
- Assail is a new character that will be showing up in Lover Reborn. Ward mentioned that next to Z, he is her favorite character. “Assail is the shit!”

- There will be a threesome in the Envy and Lover Reborn. [woot woot!]

- We will see a new member inducted into the Brotherhood in Lover Reborn or the following book.
 Ward did not mention who this character will be.

- Jose de la Cruz will appear in Envy, as well as a future BDB book where he runs into Butch! Jose is out to dinner with his wife at a fancy restaurant, and sees Butch across the room with a gorgeous female. Their eyes connect, and Jose knows that it’s Butch… then he remembers nothing. Butch wipes his memory!

- Ward can see a “pretty cool cross over between the BDB and Fallen Angel series.”

- It is planned who Trez and iAm end up with: one of the characters we have already met, and one we have not.

- Ward has a third series outlined, but would not give any details regarding it. She does not know if this series will ever come to light because she is still extremely busy with the Brothers and Fallen Angels.

- When asked if Rhage will be in the next book, Ward said “there is a highly anticipated, hilarious scene with Rhage in Lover Reborn.”

- Before Dark Lover was published, Ward send a copy to a list of reviewers for feedback. One of the reviewers said “if you love LA Banks you will love JR Ward.” Ward was extremely honored to be included in the same category as LA Banks since Ward followed her and honored her work. She was extremely upset about the loss of LA Banks.

The best part?
 JR Ward  was asked “Since I know you won’t tell us what Layla’s talent is, can you pleeeease tell us when we will find out what it is?” She thought about this for a moment, then said, “Well, it’s coming…” and thought some more about when it would be. As she was thinking, the entire room burst into laughter. Ward then realized that she implied that Layla’s talent was ‘coming.’ Ward laughed so hard that she began to cry and could barely speak to answer the question. She then walked over and gave a huge high-five for making her laugh so hard. I then proceeded to freaked out, and squeal like a ten year old girl to my book club bitches.

 More tidbits.

-She's 3/4 of the way through with Rhage and Mary's novella about them getting a kid. She said the beast plays a part in it, and according to her it's adorable.

-she felt Phury's book was too much abt his addiction and not enough of his relationship with Cormia.

-asked if Throe and Rhage are related, she said "keep reading"

-band of bastards and brotherhood are going to go through intense stuff
She said there's a critical fight in Tohr's book.

-someone asked her whether Michael, from her story of son story would appear in brotherhood bks' she doesn't know. she said maybe their kids

-when asked if she has an aversion to baby powder in real life, she said yes; she hates the smell of it

-there was a question about Wrath and Beth and why Beth forgave him so quickly after all his lying and stuff...that got the audience going when a woman in the front row answered "I know why she forgave him so fast!" JR, almost rolled on the floor laughing at the reference to his "size", and said "yeah, let's leave it at that!"

~BETTER THEN COVET BUT STILL NO BLACK DAGGER BROTHERHOOD~


Crave (The Fallen Angels, #2)

Opening Line: "Hey! Wait a -- Save that shit for the ring!"

CRAVE is book #2 in the anticipated Fallen Angels series and while this still aint no Black Dagger Brotherhood with this instalment the WARDen seems to have at least found her groove, and I feel way more invested in the series as a whole now then I did after reading COVET although I’m still not in love with it (does that make sense?)

Continuing 4 days after the end of COVET, Fallen Angel Jim Heron finds himself in familiar territory as the soul he has to save this time around is that of AWOL Black Ops soldier Isaac Roth. The back story here is extensive as Jim and Isaac share a history together, both having served under the treacherous leadership of Matthias. When we begin Isaac is making some quick cash as an underground cage fighter. After the ring gets busted Isaac lands in jail where we meet his beautiful, court appointed defence attorney Grier Childe.

Despite their differences (or maybe because of) the sparks fly with Grier going so far as to post his bail using her own money. With Isaac now free he plans on disappearing and fast the only problem is he owes Grier and can’t seem to get her out of his head even though he knows all he could possibly bring her is trouble. When Jim and his fallen sidekicks make contact Jim realizes that its not just Devina stealing his soul that puts Isaac in danger but their former commander Matthias has put a death sentence on his head, because the only way you can leave their covert little organization is in a body bag.

The story moves along fast but smoothly and with a whole lot happening in the mere three day span of the book. So even though our romantic couple isn’t given a whole lot of time to fall in love (or enough romance period) they still managed to capture my attention and even gave me a couple of *sigh* moments. I really enjoyed Isaac and Grier, who (despite the amount of omelettes getting eaten) have great chemistry together and the love scenes are erotic and heart wrenching, which lets be honest is a Ward standard.

Also as per usual with Ward there are numerous characters vying for POV time and as always she handles this seamlessly. Popping us back and forth between the hero and heroine and into heaven and hell in the minds of angels, demons and anyone else caught in the crossfire of battle #2 this time around. All the returning characters get fleshed out (some even get wings) so you learn more about Jim Heron as well as his intriguing but still somewhat vague angel sidekicks Adrian and Eddie. Even dog makes an appearance. We also get into Devina’s warped and evil head and she’s proved to be surprisingly interesting.

Of course this book is full of F-bombs and Wards own unique brand of slang which I usually enjoy. However this time there are just so many “Wardisms” that I found myself getting side tracked trying to figure out exactly what she was trying to say in her riddlesque product placement kind of way.

"A gust of wind went Nike across the landscape" This is fun a few times then it just gets dhistracting.

Crave is definitely darker then Covet with some scenes that are downright disturbing and I will tell you (because I drove myself crazy looking) that there aren’t any Brother sightings this time around except for the mention of 'sKillerz' but I’ll let you figure that one out on your own.

For me Crave effectively advances the series as a whole, tying everything together so that I could see the big picture. So that even though each book will deal with a different battle of good and evil it’s really the end game that counts and the ending this time around is …surprising

~LOVER REBORN cover??~

Jeez I go out of town for a few days and look what happens ...  

Initially I got all excited about this but then I started thinking, its kinda early for the cover art to be released isn't it? It's never come out this early before. I mean the book doesn't even hit the shelves until March 27/ of 2012.

 I have since discovered though that this is an unofficial cover even though it seems to have up popped up everywhere since it first appeared. (Who knows where it originated?) I'm glad this isn't the official version though because its not how I pictured Tohr looking at all. Ward's message boards are all "under construction" right now so I can't get any confirmation and so far there's been nothing on her Facebook page but I'll keep hunting.
